


At Mimi’s Little Academy, we view each child as capable, curious, and full of potential. Our Reggio Emilia–inspired environment encourages children to explore, question, and express themselves through play, nature, and meaningful relationships. Every day is an opportunity to follow a child’s wonder, to listen to their ideas, observe their discoveries, and co-learn alongside them. The name “Mimi” was lovingly given to Ms. Solmary by one of her former students—and it stayed with her as a reminder that learning is rooted in love and connection. Love is the heart of our work. Guided by the Reggio Emilia philosophy and the CT Pyramid Model, we believe learning grows through collaboration between children, families, and educators. Together, we create a community where voices are valued, environments inspire exploration, and every muddy footprint tells the story of growth and joy.
